Aero Acres

Aero Acres is a premier residential airpark community located 12 miles south-west of Ft. Pierce in St. Lucie County, Florida. Sitting  on approximately 190 acres, the airpark is comprised of 68 lots ranging in size from 1.20 acres to 2.70 acres. Twenty-three (23) lots are situated directly on the runway with the remaining forty-five 45 lots having runway access via manicured grass taxiways. A single, paved 3,150’ x 50’ runway (10/28) offers PAPI lighting in both directions. Pilot-controlled lighting and surface weather information broadcast on frequency 122.85 provide for 24-hour access. Our airport identifier is FD88.

The three streets in the community, named after milestones in aviation - Mach One Drive, Kitty Hawk Court and Tranquility Base Lane, are paved asphalt and county maintained. Access to the community is gained from Ideal Holding Road, a 1.8-mile road extending south from Florida State Road 70.

Many of the lots have heavy, mature trees and natural vegetation while others are mostly grass. All utilities within the community (electric & phone) are underground with water and sewer by individual well and septic system. High speed internet is available via broad-band or Starlink satellite service. All lots are for residential use only.

Aero Acres is governed by Aero Acres Property Owners’ Association, Inc. via a volunteer board of directors elected by the members. Protective Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (deed restrictions) affect the real property of Aero Acres.  Commercial operations of any kind are prohibited; an Architectural Review Committee must approve all new construction and/or changes to existing structures as well as surface area construction (concrete slabs or decks, etc.), and each lot may contain a single-family dwelling of at least 1,700sf and a stand-alone airplane hangar not larger than 3,600sf.
